Sai Pallavi recently reflected on her first flop film during the Amaran team’s appearance at the Pinkvilla Masterclass, following the movie’s Diwali release on October 31. Co-starring Sivakarthikeyan and directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, Amaran has been performing well at the box office.

Opening up about dealing with failure, Sai Pallavi shared, “You never want to let the audience down, and there’s a fear that the love from fans might diminish if things go wrong. But the audience is very forgiving.” She emphasized that each new project offers a fresh start, saying, “If you present something good, they embrace it and move on. It’s a reminder not to be too hard on oneself but to make thoughtful choices going forward.”

Sivakarthikeyan, in a light-hearted moment, joked, “Fans remember hits, haters remember the flops. Sometimes we have to keep the haters entertained too,” drawing laughter from the audience. He candidly spoke about his own fear of failure, admitting, “Before my first flop, I feared every film’s reception. But when it finally happened, I learned to accept it.”

He advised a pragmatic approach to failure: “Acknowledge it, take responsibility, understand where things went wrong, and don’t repeat the mistakes. That’s how we grow.” The duo’s honest reflections provided valuable insights into navigating setbacks in the film industry with resilience and self-awareness.
