Sai Youth Football Academy Hosts Ground-breaking Girl’s Football Clinic

25th August : Malaysia– Sai Youth Football Academy is proud to announce its inaugural Girl’s Football Clinic, a pioneering event aimed at fostering young female football talent.
This one-day clinic will take place on August 31, 2024, at SJKT Bukit Rajah, Klang, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
At the helm of this initiative is Ms Kirtana Subramaniam, the first female brand ambassador for Figos Malaysia and a trailblazing football coach. Known for her dedication to promoting women’s football, she has worked tirelessly to inspire the next generation of female athletes.
Through her leadership at Sai Youth Football Academy, she has provided countless opportunities for young girls to develop their skills and pursue their passion for the sport. Her vision is to see more women break into football and for the sport to thrive in Malaysia.
As per Ms Kirtana’s statement the clinic, which is exclusively for 50 Indian girls aged 5 to 18, will offer a comprehensive introduction to football basics. It is led by five FAM Certified female coaches from Sai Youth Football Academy, ensuring high-quality training and mentorship for the participants.
Special Guests Include:
- En Sulaiman, Technical Director of Kuala Lumpur Football Association
- En KV Anpananthan, President of Malaysian Indian Football Association
- En Sri Sangkar, Founder of Penang Indian Football Club and Vice President of MIFA
The event aims to develop women’s football in Malaysia, encourage young girls to engage in sports, and establish a girls’ football team to compete in future tournaments.This initiative aligns with Sai Youth Football Academy’s mission to inspire and nurture young talent in the sport.
Following the clinic, interested participants will have the opportunity to join ongoing academy training sessions.
