School Bus Driver Arrested After Fatal Crash Involving Teen Biker

15th October: A school bus driver in Tawau was arrested following a tragic accident that resulted in the death of a 16-year-old motorcyclist. The collision occurred along JalanApas when the teenager, riding his motorcycle, was involved in a crash with the school bus. The incident took place around 10:30 AM, while the teen was traveling towards the town.
Authorities confirmed that no students were on the bus at the time of the crash. The bus driver, a 66-year-old man, has been detained for questioning as part of the ongoing investigation. The police are currently looking into the cause of the accident and are treating the case under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987, which deals with causing death by reckless or dangerous driving.
