Sony Drops Official Teaser for PlayStation 5 Pro

Sony has given fans a sneak peek at the PlayStation 5 Pro’s design in an image celebrating PlayStation’s 30th anniversary.
While it’s a subtle tease that might be hard to catch if you aren’t aware of what to look for, the anniversary image prominently features the PlayStation 5 Pro’s outline. The console is easily identifiable due to the multiple lines running through the middle of its design. In the image, the PlayStation 5 Pro appears in the center, with the standard PlayStation 5 (the latest updated model) positioned on the right.
Just last week, well-known dataminer Billbil-kun shared that the PlayStation 5 Pro will feature these multiple lines or slits on its panel. According to Billbil-kun’s discoveries, it seems that the design details have already been uploaded to retailer websites behind the scenes, hinting that an official announcement of the console is imminent.
Back in March 2023, Insider Gaming reported that the PlayStation 5 Pro was under development, with a potential release date set for late 2024. Recent sources suggest the console is currently on track for a November release.
This recent tease from PlayStation seems to suggest that the official unveiling of the PlayStation 5 Pro is just around the corner, with rumors swirling that the announcement could happen in the next few weeks.
For more details, you can check out the PlayStation 5 Pro’s specs, which indicate that it will feature 45% faster rendering than the standard PlayStation 5, along with a new resolution upscaling technology called PSSR, among other improvements.
