SYED SADDIQ BEING INVESTIGATED OVER A VIDEO HE MADE

Kuala Lumpur 21 May 2021: Our former Minister of Youth and Sports, Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman said he was being investigated over a video he made that showed a man being taken to a hospital after a custodial death.
Syed Saddiq said he was informed about this yesterday and pledged to give his full cooperation.
The video, which was made public on April 28, showed how Ganapathy died while in police custody.
In that video, Syed Saddiq said police brutality was a serious issue. He said that if such fate could befall others, “it could happen to us”.
He also called for an Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commission (IPCMC) to be set up.
