Tajuddin is Stepping Down as Chairman of Prasarana with Immediate Effect.
Kuala Lumpur 28 May 2021: The services of Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman as Chairman of Prasarana Malaysia Bhd have been terminated with immediate effect. This comes after a letter from the Ministry of Finance, dated May 26 and signed by Finance Minister YB. Senator Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz became popular on social media.
“It is informed that the Minister of Finance has agreed for Datuk Seri’s service as the Non-Executive Chairman of Prasarana Malaysia Berhad (Prasarana) to be terminated with immediate effect,” stated the letter.
This was also corroborated by internal sources close to the ministry, according to Astro Awani. WORLD OF BUZZ has also got confirmation from ministry sources that Datuk Seri Tajuddin’s services have been terminated, but no other details are available at this time.
Tajuddin was appointed as Chairman of Prasarana on 11 May 2020, succeeding Tan Sri Zaharah Ibrahim, former Chief Justice of Malaya, who resigned on 7 May 2020.
