Teenage Girl Dies in House Fire

18^th October: A 15-year-old girl tragically lost her life in a house fire in Kampung Simpangan, Tumpat, Kelantan. The fire broke out in the early morning, and although the victim’s family managed to escape, she was trapped in her room.
Firefighters arrived swiftly but found the girl unresponsive. The fire destroyed 90% of the house. Authorities are investigating the cause of the blaze, which remains undetermined. The incident serves as a grim reminder of the importance of fire safety measures in households, as stated in The Star.
