The Malaysia Book of Records now has Selinaah’s name twice.

Kuala Lumpur, April 11: Selinaah Muralitharan is a poetic force to be considered with. The young lady has once again etched her name in the famous Malaysia Book of Records for writing the “Longest Melancholic Poem Composed (English),” featuring 3,324 words and 118 stanzas in the poem titled “Let Me Let You Go.”
Writing a gloomy poem is no simple task, and having it recognised as the longest of its type in the Malaysia Book of Records speaks much about her ability and devotion as a poet –Astro Ulagam
Previously, the MAHSA Medical student achieved a new record in the Asia Book of Records for writing the longest love poem in the area.
The 24-year-old poet penned her first poem, Flawed Ballerina, for a close friend she had known for years and created a reputation for herself by authoring the world’s Longest Love Poem (English) in the Malaysia Book of Records (MBR), 2019.
Selinaah possesses two Malaysia Book of Records titles and a jewel that set an example to all the young lads and lasses over the world since publishing her debut poetry book, A Hundred Thought- Astro Ulagam
It is always exciting to watch young teenagers break records and achieve their objectives, and we wish Selinaah the best as she pursues her passion for poetry.
