Three Cars, Six Motorcycles Destroyed in House Fire in Kuala Kurau

6 SEPTEMBER: A devastating fire early this morning destroyed a house in Parit Sungai Burong, Kuala Kurau, along with multiple vehicles.
The Perak Fire and Rescue Department stated that they received a distress call at 3:07 AM. Firefighters from the Kuala Kurau Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) arrived at the scene by 3:41 AM to find the house engulfed in flames, with 80% of the structure already consumed by the fire.
The blaze also affected several vehicles parked at the property. “Three cars were damaged in the fire — a Proton Wira suffered 30% damage, while a Toyota Avanza and a Perodua Kancil were 80% destroyed,” the statement read. Additionally, six unidentified motorcycles were almost entirely destroyed, with 90% damage to each.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported in the incident.
Firefighters battled the blaze using two water jets, drawing water from a nearby ditch. They were supported by additional teams from the Bagan Serai Fire and Rescue Station, along with volunteer fire brigades from Kuala Kurau and Jalan Bawah.
The operation was successfully completed at 5:21 AM.
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined, and investigations are ongoing as stated in BULETIN TV3
