Three Men Arrested for Assaulting Convenience Store Worker

30th August 2024 – Three men in their 20s have been arrested for assaulting a convenience store worker after a dispute over a failed transaction. The incident took place at a 24-hour store, where the suspects became angry when their payment was declined. In their frustration, they attacked the store employee, causing injuries.
The altercation was recorded by the store’s CCTV cameras, providing clear evidence of the assault. The injured worker was quickly taken to the hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
Local police acted swiftly, apprehending the suspects within hours. The men are now in custody and are being investigated under Section 324 of the Penal Code, which covers causing harm with a weapon or means that could lead to death.
