Three Siblings were Killed After a Vehicle Hits a Crane in Rompin

Kuala Lumpur, June 9: On Thursday, June 8th, in the late evening, three brothers died in a collision involving a truck and a crane at KM136 on Jalan Kuantan/Johor Baru close to Kampung Sepakat, Rompin.
The victims have been named as Muhammad Firdaus Abu Bakar, 28, Muhammad Solihin, 21, and Ahmad Jazuly, 17, whose addresses are at Jalan Sungai Kolek in Rompin, according to district police head DSP Mohd Azahari Mukhtar.
According to a statement from him, the incident that took place around 7:20 p.m. happened when the lorry they were travelling in slipped and hit a crane in the other lane.
The 38-year-old crane operator also sustained injuries in the collision, as stated by Bernama.
The victims’ remains were transferred to Rompin Hospital for a post-mortem, according to Mohd Azahari, and the matter was being looked into in accordance with Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act of 1987.
