Thunderstorms and Heavy Rain Expected in Perak, Sabah, and Labuan

17 SEPTEMBER: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has forecast thunderstorms and heavy rain to hit Perak, Sabah, and Labuan in the coming days. These regions may experience localized flooding, especially in low-lying areas. The public is advised to take precautions, avoid outdoor activities, and stay indoors during these storms.
Authorities have also cautioned drivers to be extra careful on the roads, as water accumulation and potential flash floods could cause dangerous conditions. In some areas, power outages and fallen trees may occur due to strong winds.
MetMalaysia continues to monitor the situation and encourages the public to stay updated via their official channels for real-time information.
