TMJ to meet anti-vaccine teachers tomorrow

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 26: Tunku Mahkota of Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim will meet the group of teachers that rejected COVID-19 vaccination tomorrow.

“I will meet with the Johor Education director and teachers at the Sultan Ibrahim Building, Bukit Timbalan along with the Johor Mufti and the state secretary this Friday (Aug 27).

“This is to ensure the rakyat’s health, safety and well-being are always protected,” he had said on a Facebook post on Monday.

Tunku Ismail was commenting on a news report that 779 teachers in the state had rejected COVID-19 vaccination.

Previously, Bernama had reported State Education, Information, Heritage and Culture Committee chairman, Mazlan Bujang as saying that a group of teachers had refused to be inoculated.
