Tony Fernandes Appointed Adjunct Professor at Universiti Malaya

4th OCTOBER: Universiti Malaya (UM) has appointed Tony Fernandes, the founder and CEO of AirAsia, as an adjunct professor at its Faculty of Business and Economics. The appointment aims to leverage Fernandes’ extensive experience in the aviation industry and entrepreneurship to enhance the university’s academic offerings.

During the announcement, Fernandes expressed his enthusiasm for the role, emphasizing the importance of education in shaping future leaders.
