Two-Storey Furniture Factory Destroyed by Fire in Petaling Jaya

5 OCTOBER: A massive fire broke out late last night, destroying a two-storey furniture factory in Petaling Jaya. The Selangor Fire and Rescue Department reported that the 2,000 square-foot factory was 90% destroyed by the time the fire was brought under control.
The blaze occurred at around 10:46 p.m., and 44 firefighters, supported by 14 fire engines from various stations, managed to contain the fire by 11:30 p.m.No casualties were reported in the incident, though investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire as stated in BULETIN TV3.
