UMHV Honors Indian Roots at the International PIO Festival

19 SEPTEMBER: The United Malaysian Hindu Voice (UMHV) proudly attended the People of Indian Origin (PIO) International Festival on 14th September 2024 at SJKT Vivekananda, Brickfields. (PIO) International Festival is an annual event that brings together people of Indian heritage from across the globe. Held recently, PIO fest serves as a vibrant celebration of Indian culture, heritage, and identity.
This year’s festival featured an array of performances by international artists, as well as engaging talks by esteemed speakers and delegates. The diverse line-up captivated attendees, offering a unique blend of traditional and contemporary expressions of Indian culture. UMHV representatives praised the festival for fostering a sense of unity and pride among the Indian diaspora while also promoting intercultural dialogue.
