Vanitha Vijayakumar Files Complaint Against AirAsia for Theft of Checked Baggage’s Valuables and Cash

KUALA LUMPUR, 23 AUGUST: Actress and TV celebrity Vanitha Vijayakumar has openly blasted AirAsia in response to a claim that her friend’s checked luggage was allegedly tampered with on a Kuala Lumpur trip. Vanitha recently revealed on social media that she and her buddy, who used AirAsia aircraft AK 10, arrived at the destination to find cash and valuables gone from their luggage.
Vanitha highlighted the airline’s violation of security and confidenceKua as she conveyed her dissatisfaction and disgust with them. She urged with AirAsia to act right now to resolve the issue and make sure that such occurrences don’t happen again.
“My friend was shocked to find that their cash and valuables had been stolen from their checked-in baggage after landing in Kuala Lumpur. This is unacceptable, and AirAsia needs to be held accountable,” Vanitha wrote in her post, tagging the airline and urging them to investigate the matter.
The actress’s message went viral right away, and many of her fans expressed similar experiences and expressed worries. Some users demanded that airlines take greater responsibility for safeguarding customers’ goods and that airport security procedures be tightened.
AirAsia hasn’t made a public statement about the incident currently yet.
Travellers are cautioned to keep priceless valuables in their carry-on bags and to notify the airline and airport authorities right away of any suspicious activity or missing items.
