UPDATED: WOMEN FOOTBALLERS EMERGE IN SAREE

Kuala Lumpur, July 7 – Malaysian Indian Women as footballers have begun the steps of hike. Despite a challenging year for sustainability for many people, there are some with utmost courage, strived for a new breakthrough in football in Malaysia.
Penang Indian Football Association (PIFApen), an NGO being the strength for the players. Additionally, the association organised many tournaments and has many encouraging initiatives which are outreaching students from school level to be a footballer. A great plan as the individuals can be trained further for competitions.
Seven Indian women from PIFApen became eligible referees after passing class 3 of Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) in May 2021. PIFA’s posts of their players in social media has brought the team into the lights of media.
SAREE-FOOTBALLERS are on a march to create history for the nation. Game played with traditional attire Saree has brought them into the eyes of many.
BIGIL, tamil movie emphasising women empowerment into football became a reality when our SAREE – FOOTBALLERS, gets on their mark to set and go.
“A definite stepping stone for all players to be blessed with incredible skills and best wishes to bring this along their path. Let’s give our support to them”, said Navindran, UMHV chairman.
In sports, nothing can be a pie and hardwork is an essential as it is a platform for talents. Where there is a will, there is a way being proven by all players who has achieved during this pandemic.
