Action to Be Taken Against Parents Who Let Underage Children Drive

5th September 2024 – Police in Seremban have warned parents of legal consequences if they allow underage children to drive. This follows an incident where a 10-year-old boy crashed a car into a van in Taman Arowana Impian.
The child, along with his nine-year-old neighbor, was unharmed in the accident, but the crash caused a chain reaction involving another vehicle.
The case is being investigated under the Road Transport Act 1987 and the Child Act 2001. Authorities are urging those with information to come forward, as stated in The Star.
