Authorities Crack Down on Illegal Racing, Arresting 136 Individuals

23 SEPTEMBER: In a recent operation targeting illegal street racing in Malaysia, authorities apprehended 136 individuals, including 69 students. The crackdown took place across various locations, with police executing multiple raids in response to community complaints about dangerous racing activities that pose risks to public safety.
The operation, conducted by the police in collaboration with local authorities, resulted in the seizure of several vehicles involved in these unlawful races. The arrested individuals, primarily young people, now face charges under the Road Transport Act. Police reiterated their commitment to maintaining public safety and urged the community to report any illegal racing activities.
