Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8 host will be Vijay Sethupathi

The network that telecasts the show, Vijay TV, revealed that Vijay Sethupathi will now take over from his Vikram co-star. This announcement comes days after actor-politician Kamal Haasan announced his resignation as host of the Tamil TV reality show Bigg Boss. Vijay Sethupathi made the news in a little video that featured him wearing a blazer.
Kamal Haasan announced on his X handle at the beginning of August that he would be taking a leave of absence from hosting this well-liked TV program, which has been broadcast for the previous seven years.
The actor wrote, “I have been privileged to reach you in your homes,” as part of a note. I will always be grateful to you for the love and attention you have given me.”
The actor also wished the Bigg Boss Tamil cast at Vijay TV well for the next season and thanked them in the note.
Following his triumphant performance with Maharaja, Vijay Sethupathi’s upcoming projects include Mysskin’s Train, Aarumuga Kumar’s Ace, and an untitled Pandiraj movie starring Nithya Menen as the lead female character. Vijay Sethupathi’s second Tamil release of the year, Vetrimaaran’s Viduthalai Part 2, will open in theaters on December 20 along with Soori.
