Dhanush’s Idli Kadai with Nithya Menen to Release on Tamil New Year 2025

Dhanush is set to make his third directorial venture with Idli Kadai, featuring Nithya Menen as the female lead, marking their second collaboration after the successful Thiruchitrambalam. Taking to social media, Dhanush announced that Idli Kadai will release on April 10, 2025, coinciding with Tamil New Year celebrations. This film follows his previous directorial projects, Pa Paandi in 2017 and his latest, Raayan.
The announcement was accompanied by a striking new poster, showing a man, presumably Dhanush, standing in front of a small thatched-roof hut, set against a sky filled with pastel hues and birds flying gracefully in the background. The post quickly garnered reactions from Dhanush’s Raayan co-star Sundeep Kishan and composer GV Prakash, who have shown enthusiastic support for the upcoming project.
With music composed by GV Prakash and cinematography by Kiran, Idli Kadai is already creating a buzz among fans. The film promises to bring Dhanush’s directorial flair back to the big screen, making it a highly anticipated release.
Adding to the excitement, reports suggest that Karthik Subbaraj’s Suriya 44 may also hit theatres on the same date, potentially setting the stage for a box office clash that will thrill Tamil cinema enthusiasts this festive season.
