Five Men Arrested for Alleged Rape of Teenage Girl in BatuGajah

26th October: Police in Batu Gajah have detained five men suspected of gang-raping a 15-year-old girl at a dormitory. The investigation began when the girl’s mother reported her missing after she failed to return from school. Police stated that the teenager initially met with her boyfriend, later encountered a new acquaintance, and followed him to a dormitory where he introduced her to five others. Allegedly, she was invited to rest in an empty room, where the assault occurred.
Following her discovery, police questioned her and subsequently detained the men, aged 18 to 27. Two of the suspects had prior criminal records, including drug-related offenses. They are currently in remand for six days, with the investigation proceeding under Section 375B of the Penal Code, which addresses gang rape as stated in BULETIN TV3.
