Floods in Kedah and Perlis Force More Displacements

10th OCTOBER: Flooding in the northern states of Kedah and Perlis continues to worsen, displacing hundreds of residents. In Kedah, nearly 1,000 people from various districts have been evacuated to temporary shelters due to rising water levels caused by heavy rainfall.
Perlis has also seen an increase in flood victims, with over 200 people affected. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation, and relief efforts are ongoing. Several areas remain submerged, and residents are urged to remain vigilant as further rain is expected, as stated in The Star.
