On Mammootty’s 73rd birthday, Dulquer Salmaan writes a heartfelt greeting for his father, “I’m beginning to understand.”

On September 7, 2024, megastar Mammootty will celebrate turning 73. Birthday greetings and good wishes are coming in from all directions. Dulquer Salmaan, his son, is now using his own Instagram account to share how much he loves his father and the popular actor.
“Of late I’ve realized that the best of friends never have any photos together,” DQ said in the Instagram post that included a rare snapshot of him and his father. Because they enjoy and value their time together too much to waste it posing for pictures or taking selfies.
The actor continued by saying that they now snap pictures of him on his birthdays, almost as a sort of tradition.
But he also mentioned how there are never any pictures of the two of them on either of their phones, adding, “But now I’m starting to understand and love why that is.” Happy birthday to my father, who is also my hero and greatest I’m wishing the happiest birthday to my father, my best friend, and my idol!
