Apart from joining Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam for Thug Life and the announcement of STR 48 with Desingh Periyasamy, updates from the star have been scarce.
However, STR thrilled his fans on Saturday by revealing that his next film will combine elements from his early 2000s hits Dum, Manmadhan, and Vallavan, giving them a fresh, Gen Z twist. The actor’s announcement on social media garnered over 300,000 views within an hour, igniting excitement among his followers.
While no official details have been provided about the order of his upcoming projects, industry rumors suggest that the film he referenced could mark his 50th feature, with STR taking on the role of director.
Fans are also eagerly anticipating the release of Thug Life, with reports confirming that STR has already completed dubbing for his portions in the film.
