Teaser for “Meiyazhagan”: Fans are intrigued by the chemistry between Karthi and Aravind Swamy!

The much awaited rural drama “Meiyazhagan” has Tamil cinema’s best actors, Karthi and Aravind Swamy, and is sure to charm spectators. In honour of Vinayagar Chathurthi, the team, lead by Premkumar of ’96’ fame and produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment, unveiled a playful teaser today.
As two relatives with different personalities, Karthi and Aravind Swamy’s relationship is hinted at in the one and a half-minute teaser. Upon returning to his village, Aravind Swamy finds himself at odds with Karthi’s gregarious and free-spirited personality.
Their uneasy chemistry and funny banter look to be the main plot points of the movie. Karthi excels as the stereotypical peasant, and Aravind Swamy captures the uneasiness and hesitancy of someone who is not from their environment quite well.
With Rajkiran, Sri Divya, and Swathi Konde in a strong cast, “Meiyazhagan” looks like a movie worth watching. Mahendran Raju is the cinematographer, Ayyappan is the art director, Govindaraj is in charge of editing, and Govind Vasantha is the musician on the technical team. ‘Meiyazhagan’ is sure to be a lovely movie experience with such an ensemble!
