UKM Honors Media Practitioners at 2024 MediaWave Event

13th September 2024 – Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) recognized media professionals for their role in promoting the institution during the UKM MediaWave 2024.
The event, officiated by the Ministry of Higher Education’s deputy secretary-general, Datuk Dr Megat Sany Megat Ahmad Supian, featured five awards, including Best News and Best Article.
UKM Vice Chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Mohd Ekhwan Toriman highlighted that from January to August 2024, UKM appeared in 14,700 media citations, underscoring the critical support from media in raising UKM’s profile domestically and internationally, as stated in Bernama.
