The CHEERS Project, initiated by the United Malaysian Hindu Voice (UMHV), has successfully brought joy to children from various welfare homes through a series of heartwarming events.

In Batch 2, volunteers visited the Ampang Thangam IllamWelfare Society, engaging the children in games and sharing delicious food. They also gifted new Deepavali clothes, creating unforgettable memories.
The festivities continued with Batch 3 at Anbu & KarunaiIllam, where laughter and games filled the air. The children received festive treats, reinforcing the spirit of Deepavali and the importance of love and care.
Batch 4 at Pusat Jagaan Anneiyin Karunai Illam, where volunteers shared joyous moments through games and meals, further brightening the children’s day with new festive attire.
Finally, Batch 5 saw a visit to Pusat Jagaan Sinar Ceria, where smiles and treats were abundant. The day was a reminder of the positive impact that collective efforts can have on young lives.
UMHV continues to seek support for this noble cause, aiming to ensure every child can celebrate Deepavali joyfully. Donations will also contribute to their Achayapatra and Deepavali Open House programs, making this festive season truly special for these children. Together, let’s make a difference.
