Young Innovators from SJK (T) Permatang Tinggi Shine at IPITEx 2024

6 OCTOBER: Ten talented students from SJK (T) Permatang Tinggi showcased their innovative skills at the Bangkok International Intellectual Property, Invention, Innovation and Technology Exposition (IPITEx) 2024. Guided by dedicated teachers, two student teams excelled in the competition with remarkable creations.

The first group, Team APOTIZER, earned a Silver Award along with special recognition from Vietnam, Egypt, Pakistan, and the Philippines. Their project, an Advance Portable Sanitizer, impressed the judges. The second group, Team BOOST PILLS, secured the prestigious Gold Award and additional accolades from Poland, Pakistan, and the Philippines for their Plant Booster Pills innovation.

The students’ success was made possible by the strong support of their parents, who ensured their participation by covering expenses and traveling with them to Bangkok. Mr. Sureendran Gopala Krishnan from Break Barriers Enterprise and the school’s headmistress, teachers, and the PTA provided crucial guidance and backing.

This achievement serves as a proud moment for the school and a testament to the potential of young innovators. The success of these students highlights the importance of nurturing young minds and fostering a culture of innovation as stated in Astro Ulagam.
