Zii Jia Advances to Olympic Quarterfinals

Kuala Lumpur, 2 August 2024 – Lee Zii Jia secured a spot in the Olympic badminton quarterfinals by defeating French player Toma Junior Popov.
He won the match with scores of 21-18, 21-17. This victory sets him up to face Denmark’s Anders Antonsen in the next round. Zii Jia showed strong performance, maintaining control throughout the game.
Antonsen, a tough competitor, will be a challenging opponent for Zii Jia. The upcoming match promises to be exciting as both players aim for a place in the semifinals, as stated in STAR.
