28th August 2024 – Another sinkhole has formed on Jalan Masjid India, Kuala Lumpur, just 50 meters from a previous incident where the ground collapsed, injuring a pedestrian.
The new sinkhole appeared around 2:30 AM, likely due to heavy rain and storms overnight. Authorities are now on high alert, as this is the second occurrence within days, raising serious concerns about public safety and infrastructure stability in the area.
The authorities are investigating the cause and taking measures to prevent further incidents, as stated in Malaysia Kini.
