Man Arrested for Outburst at Toll Plaza, Tests Positive for Meth

5th NOVEMBER: A 21-year-old man was arrested after causing a disturbance at a toll plaza near Jalan Batu 9 in Kajang. A viral video captured him exiting his car to angrily confront a toll booth worker, reportedly using harsh language and kicking the booth’s wall. The incident began when the man was allegedly reprimanded for hitting the Touch n’ Go card scanner too hard.

Following police investigation, authorities located and detained the suspect at a residential area in Hulu Langat. Subsequent drug testing revealed he was positive for methamphetamine, with 17 prior criminal records. The case is now under investigation for mischief and minor offenses under Sections 427 and 14 of the Penal Code, as well as under the Dangerous Drugs Act.
