Malayalam actor‑producer Dulquer Salmaan, under his production house Wayfarer Films, has unveiled the first look of Lokah – Chapter One: Chandra, marking a bold leap into the superhero genre. The film, directed by Dominic Arun (known for Tharangam), features Kalyani Priyadarshan in an unprecedented superhero role, sharing the screen with Naslen as the co‑lead.
The debut poster reveals Kalyani in combat gear and a cape, standing resolute on a burning battlefield wielding a dagger, while Naslen appears anguished amid chaos — hinting at an emotionally charged narrative set in a fantastical world.
Script contributions come from Santhy Balachandran, and the cast includes Chandu Salimkumar, Arun Kurian, Vijayaraghavan, Raghunath Paleri, Sarath Sabha, Nithya Shri, and Nishanth Sagar. Prominent technicians onboard are cinematographer Nimish Ravi, editor Chaman Chakko, production designer Banglan, composer Jakes Bejoy, and action choreographer Yannick Ben.
With this project being the seventh from Wayfarer Films and reportedly concluding filming by January 2025, Lokah – Chapter One: Chandra signals the beginning of an ambitious Malayalam superhero franchise, aiming to blend mythic storytelling with visual spectacle.
