KUALA LUMPUR, 24 September 2025: Indian actor and motorsport enthusiast Ajith Kumar will make his debut in the 2025-26 Asian Le Mans Series at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia this December. The move marks a significant step in his professional racing career.
The popular actor will compete in the endurance race from December 12 to 14, sharing driving duties with Narain Karthikeyan, India’s first Formula One driver. Their partnership is set to combine Kumar’s growing experience with Karthikeyan’s extensive expertise, with the duo competing for the Ajith Kumar Racing team.
Kumar’s entry into the series follows his recent participation in the Michelin 24H Series and GT4 European Series. The Asian Le Mans Series, which begins its six-race season in Sepang, will see teams from around the world compete in LMP2, LMP3, and GT categories.The Sepang circuit will host the first two four-hour races of the season before the series moves to Dubai and Abu Dhabi in early 2026.
