Angry Man kills wife for exposing affair on social media

Kuala Lumpur, May 8: A woman was reportedly battered to death by her husband for disclosing his adultery on social sites in an occurrence at a flat in Cheras just before Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
According to Kajang police commander ACP Mohd Zaid Hassan, the 28-year-old lady was slain by her husband, who used his knees, hands, and a hard weapon.
He stated that the victim’s 38-year-old husband was detained at his home on the same day (Sunday) after a medical officer at Kajang Hospital made a statement.
“On May 1, at 9.16 am, police received a police report from a medical officer on duty at Kajang Hospital stating that they had received an unconscious 28-year-old woman who was sent to the hospital by her husband. She was later confirmed dead,” he stated today in a report.
According to the Borneo Post, he stated that an exterior inspection of the woman by the medical officer revealed injuries on numerous of her limbs, and that her death appeared strange.
“Results from the post mortem examination revealed that the cause of death was an abdominal injury due to a strong blow using a blunt object.
“The motive for the murder was that the suspect was angry with the victim because she had uploaded on social media that the suspect had an affair,” he said – Borneo Post
He stated that the matter had been forwarded to the public prosecutor and that the accused will be prosecuted on Monday at the Kajang Magistrate’s Court under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
