CyberSecurity Malaysia CEO Honored with ASEAN Japan Cybersecurity Award

20 October: Datuk Dr. Amirudin Abdul Wahab, CEO of CyberSecurity Malaysia, received the prestigious AJCCA Cyber Resilience Award (ACRA) at a ceremony in Singapore. The award, presented by Dr. Rudi Lamanto, chairman of the ASEAN Japan Cybersecurity Community Alliance (AJCCA), recognizes Amirudin’s significant contributions to Malaysia’s cybersecurity sector.

Expressing his gratitude, Amirudin noted that the accolade is not just a personal achievement but also a testament to CyberSecurity Malaysia’s impact on the ASEAN region’s digital ecosystem. He highlighted the importance of collaboration between cybersecurity stakeholders at both domestic and international levels, especially in ASEAN.

The AJCCA, comprising cybersecurity leaders from ASEAN nations and Japan, focuses on enhancing cybersecurity and cyber resilience through information sharing and support.
