Six Year Old Prodigy Enters MBOR For Mind Blowing Math Speed

PUTRAJAYA, June 16 – A six-year-old Malaysian boy has officially secured his place in the Malaysia Book of Records by demonstrating extraordinary mental arithmetic skills that far exceed his age group.

Young T. Vishakan achieved the national milestone on June 12 by correctly solving 53 multiplication problems in a single minute. His lightning-fast calculations earned him the official title for the “Most Multiplication Completed By A Child In One Minute.”

The child’s exceptional affinity for numbers first became apparent to his family when he was only three years old. Rather than simply looking out the window during routine family road trips, Vishakan began analyzing the registration numbers on surrounding vehicle license plates and mentally transforming them into complex math equations.

According to his parents, this early curiosity quickly developed into an advanced mastery of multiplication tables. His disciplined practice and innate speed eventually paved the way for the official record-breaking attempt monitored by national adjudicators.

The achievement highlights a growing trend of exceptional mathematical talent among young Malaysian children. Experts note that fostering such early analytical skills through creative, real-world engagement can significantly enhance long-term cognitive development.
