AHMEDABAD, 12 June 2025: An Air India flight, AI171, bound for London, crashed shortly after takeoff from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad today. Initial reports indicate casualties, with emergency services, including fire tenders and ambulances, immediately dispatched to the crash site in the Meghani area.
The Boeing 787 Dreamliner was carrying over 200 passengers and crew. Authorities have promptly launched a full investigation to ascertain the cause of the tragic incident, as rescue and recovery operations are underway.
