29 SEPTEMBER: A 66-year-old principal of a religious school suspected of having ties to Global Ikhwan Service and Business Holdings (GISBH) has had his remand extended by three days.
The order was issued by Magistrate Amal Razim Alias to assist investigations under Section 8(2) of the Printing Presses and Publications Act 1984.
The principal was arrested following a police raid at Sekolah Rendah Integrasi Ikhwan in Pasir Puteh, where 34 banned books linked to the controversial figure Abuya were seized. He was first remanded on September 26, 2024 as stated in BULETIN TV3.
