INDIA 9th May: Back to beginning in just 2 two days. Amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan, Pakistan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs, Economic Affairs Division appealed to international allies for more loans. It appealed to them to de-escalate, talking about “stock crash”.

“Govt of Pakistan appeals to International Partners for more loans after enemy caused heavy losses. In the face of increasing war and stocks crash, we appeal to international partners to help in de-escalation,” it posted on X.

This comes a day after Indian retaliation against Pakistani air strikes. India on Thursday said that it “neutralised” Pakistan’s air defence system in Lahore as Pakistan had violated ceasefire and begun shelling in Poonch, which killed 13 civilians and left over 40 injured.

The central government said that it repelled Pakistan’s attempted attacks on 15 Indian military targets. It also added the air defence system in Lahore was “reliably learnt to have been neutralised”.

These were countered by the Integrated Counter UAS Grid and Air Defence systems. The debris of these attacks is being recovered from various places that affirm the Pakistani attacks,” the statement added. (Source Thetatvaindia)
