CHENNAI — Following the successful theatrical run and recent digital release of his directorial debut Youth, actor-director Ken Karunaas has officially launched a major talent recruitment drive through his production venture, Street Boy Studios Private Limited.
Operating under the production collective banner “Ken & Gang,” the studio announced its new expansion campaign, “Ken & Gang Grows Bigger,” aimed at searching fresh creative talent to build its core team for upcoming Kollywood and independent digital media projects.
Incorporated in August 2025 by Ken Karunaas and Karunas Grace, the active media house operates right out of the traditional heartbeat of the Tamil film industry in Saligramam, Chennai. Rather than outsourcing through typical industry channels, the studio’s new drive is deliberately opening doors for underground, independent creators across four core disciplines: aspiring filmmakers, screenwriters, video editors, and musicians or sound designers.
Application Submission Requirements
The studio has instructed all independent directors, composers, and post-production editors to submit their comprehensive profiles, short film showreels, screenplays, or music demos directly to the official talent acquisition portal at joinkenandgang@gmail.com. Submissions are being processed on a rolling basis as Street Boy Studios accelerates its pre-production timelines for its upcoming projects.
