7 FEBRUARY: The King of Malaysia, His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, has departed the country to receive medical treatment abroad.
The federal government and the Conference of Rulers have been duly informed of the situation.
In a statement released on Friday (February 7), Istana Negara urged all Malaysians to offer prayers for His Majesty’s speedy recovery and continued good health.
Accompanying His Majesty on this journey are Tunku Putera Johor, Tunku Abu Bakar Al-Haj Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, and Tunku Panglima Johor, Tunku Abdul Rahman Al-Haj Ibni Sultan Ibrahim.
