KUALA LUMPUR — Toshiba Electronic Devices & Storage Corporation expanded its industrial catalog today by launching four new digital isolators under its reliable DCL34xx0B series.
The latest components target heavy factory automation and control infrastructure, offering companies a practical path to reduce power grid demand. Built using compact packaging, these new devices utilize specialized magnetic coupling technology rather than traditional optical pathways. Because of this engineering shift, the design improves long-term service lifespans and protects delicate internal systems from electrical failures.
Among the newly available options, the DCL340L0B and DCL340H0B models feature a straight four-forward channel structure. Meanwhile, the DCL342L0B and DCL342H0B models feature two forward and two reverse channels to manage complex bidirectional signals. Therefore, engineers can select the exact layout they need for their machinery.
Despite their smaller footprint, all four units safely maintain steady data transmission speeds hitting 25 megabits per second. Additionally, they are rated for minimum isolation voltages of 3,000Vrms and endure severe workshop conditions ranging from 40 degrees below zero up to 125 degrees Celsius. Consequently, they ensure steady operation even in harsh environments.
The Japanese tech manufacturer confirmed that this engineering milestone aligns with regional carbon neutrality goals. By designing highly efficient parts, the brand aims to help manufacturing hubs throughout Southeast Asia lower their carbon footprint without losing mechanical productivity.
