Sivananda Clinic in Batu Caves Provides Free Outpatient Treatment to the Public

BATU CAVES, 09 November 2025: Sivananda Clinic, the charitable medical facility managed by The Divine Life Society (DLS) Malaysia, is significantly increasing its commitment to community welfare. In a major announcement, the clinic confirmed it will expand its operating schedule to six days a week, effective December 1, 2025.

The clinic, a cornerstone of DLS Malaysia’s philanthropic efforts, provides free medical outpatient treatment to the public. Since its founding in 1984, Sivananda Clinic has adhered to a non-sectarian mission, welcoming and treating individuals from all races and backgrounds, particularly those who are financially underprivileged.

The clinic embodies the principle of ‘Serve, Love, Give, Purify, Meditate, Realize’—the core teaching of the DLS founder, His Holiness Swami Sivananda Saraswati Maharaj, who was a doctor in Malaya before his monastic life.

The service is made possible by dedicated volunteer doctors and well-wishers, fulfilling the organization’s objective to undertake community welfare activities to alleviate the misery and suffering of sick, poor, and destitute people.
