BANTING — Knesha Resources launched a new digital literacy initiative this week to help senior citizens navigate everyday mobile applications safely. The HRD Corp-accredited training provider scheduled the specialized hands-on workshops to bridge the growing technology gap and build digital confidence among older Malaysians.
The program, titled Keyakinan Digital untuk Warga Emas, focuses directly on individuals aged 50 and above who want to maintain their financial independence, stay connected, and live confidently in a digital world.
The workshop covers five core practical pillars to help senior citizens navigate the digital world safely.
- Online Banking Basics – Learn how to check account balances, transfer funds, and pay bills securely.
- Cashless Transactions – Master cashless payments easily using QR codes and Touch ‘n Go digital wallets.
- Grab Ride Booking – Track and book transport confidently to reach any destination safely.
- WhatsApp Essentials – Stay connected by learning how to send locations, images, voice notes, and more.
- Online Safety and Security – Learn practical steps to prevent fraud, avoid scams, and protect personal data.
To ensure high-quality learning, organizers strictly limit each practical session to a small class size of just 6 participants. This small, focused environment allows for personalized guidance and individual attention for every attendee. The program guarantees an easy-to-understand, step-by-step approach friendly for all skill levels, set within a highly supportive environment where attendees can ask questions freely and learn comfortably. Light refreshments and snacks are also provided during the sessions.
