KLANG, March 5- SJK(T) Ladang Highlands, Klang has officially etched its name into the national history books by securing a prestigious spot in the Malaysia Book of Records (MBOR) 2026. This milestone, achieved on February 28, 2026, marks a transformative moment for Tamil vernacular education in Malaysia. The recognition followed an extraordinary academic feat involving over 1,000 students who completed a massive educational challenge in record time.
KLANG, March 5- SJK(T) Ladang Highlands, Klang has officially etched its name into the national history books by securing a prestigious spot in the Malaysia Book of Records (MBOR) 2026. This milestone, achieved on February 28, 2026, marks a transformative moment for Tamil vernacular education in Malaysia. The recognition followed an extraordinary academic feat involving over 1,000 students who completed a massive educational challenge in record time.
The record was achieved under the title: “1000 Thought Provokers, 1000 Psychomotor Skill Methods, and 1000 Tamil Learning Videos in 100 Minutes”.
The 100-Minute Achievement
The record-breaking attempt, titled “1,000 Thought Provokers, 1,000 Psychomotor Methods, and 1,000 Tamil Learning Videos,” saw students successfully execute three distinct categories of tasks simultaneously within a strict 100-minute window.




The completed milestones included:
- 1,000 Psychomotor skill activities designed to enhance physical and cognitive coordination.
- 1,000 Thought-provoking exercises to stimulate critical thinking.
- 1,000 Tamil language learning videos, showcasing digital literacy and linguistic pride.
MBOR officials officially verified and certified the success on-site, marking a milestone for Tamil school education in Malaysia.
The event was officially inaugurated by Sentosa Assemblyman, YB Gunarraj George, alongside representatives from the District Education Office (KPPD) and Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). The ceremony featured a cutting-edge holographic display to launch the record attempt.
School Headmistress, Mrs. Kokilaveni Navaratnam, attributed the success to the unwavering discipline and meticulous planning of both staff and students. She emphasized that this achievement serves as a testament to what structured effort and integrity can accomplish within the school system.



Beyond the record, the school solidified its commitment to long-term academic excellence by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Universiti Putra Malaysia. This partnership aims to:
- Drive advanced educational research projects.
- Enhance professional teacher development programs.
- Implement high-quality academic initiatives for future student cohorts.


The celebration concluded at 11:05 AM with traditional Malay dance performances and student showcases, marking February 28, 2026, as a “golden day” in Malaysian educational history.
