KUALA LUMPUR — The Ministry of Defence launched LIMA 2027 on Tuesday. Leaders expect 400,000 people to visit the big event in Langkawi.

First, global defense groups showed top interest early on. Firms booked almost forty percent of the event space in just two months. Because of this quick response, officials feel very confident about its success.

In total, over 900 companies from 36 countries will join the show. Guests can watch 110 planes fly and view nearly 90 sea ships during the five days.

Meanwhile, the show will highlight new tech like smart drones and safety tools. Also, four top flight teams will put on big air shows for the crowds.

Ultimately, LIMA 2027 aims to boost local defense skills and teach people about national safety. The event will take place from April 20 to 24, 2027.
