KUALA LUMPUR, 14 June 2025: AirAsia is offering an exclusive 50 percent discount on flight fares to 57 ASEAN destinations for Malaysian media personnel. This initiative, announced by AirAsia Aviation Group Ltd Group CEO Bo Lingam, is a gesture of appreciation for the media’s dedication and is launched in conjunction with the National Journalists’ Day (HAWANA) 2025.
The special offer is valid for a one-year travel period, commencing July 1, 2025. It aims to foster enhanced collaboration between AirAsia and the media, while simultaneously supporting local tourism and promoting regional travel across Southeast Asia.
Eligible media personnel include those from print, electronic, and online platforms, as well as production crews. The discount is applicable for both one-way and return flights across various AirAsia airlines, including AirAsia Malaysia (AK), AirAsia Thailand (FD), AirAsia Indonesia (QZ), and AirAsia Philippines (Z2).
