SEBERANG PERAI, 9TH JUNE 2021: Tamil schools students are constantly making the Indian community proud by emerging as champs at various international competitions. Three students of Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Tamil ( SJKT) Mak Madin, Seberang Perai Utara, confirmed gold medals at the Global Olympiad Green Innovation Fair ( GO-GIFT 2021) competition recently.
The competition was held virtually due to the third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. Ammbuja Soothesan, Medhanesh Kathiravan, and Thaniyamithraan Vengades were the pupils who took the gold medals to their homes.
Their project was based on Water Filtration & Purity, which explained the way of identifying the unhealthy contaminants in the water and taking action to remove all the harmful substances from the water. The contest was officiated by the GLOBAL Environmental Invention & Innovation Association (GeeiiA).
